Three charged in Columbia man’s death

Three men are charged after the body of a Columbia man who disappeared last month was found.

The Miller County Sheriff’s Dept. says the body of 41-year-old Aaron Brantley was found near Brumley in Miller County last week. Investigators say it looks like he was shot. Brantley’s wife reported him missing Feb. 9.

Christopher English of Eldon was charged Monday with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and abandonment of a corpse. William Lucas and Daniel Cole, both of Kaiser, are charged as accessories to murder.

A probable cause statement says a witness told Osage Beach Police Brantley was shot and killed at Lucas’ home in Miller County.
