Missing Oklahoma man found in mid-Missouri

Someone from Callaway County helped locate a missing man from Oklahoma.

The sheriff’s department said on its Facebook page that a resident spotted a man who looked confused on State Road J between Millersburg and Guthrie Thursday night, then called the sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived, they identified him as Harvey Walden, 84. He had been reported missing from LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

Walden was suffering from a medical condition and received treatment at MU Hospital in Columbia. Deputies then called Oklahoma authorities and Walden’s family to let them know they found him.
