Missouri breaks record again, reports more than 1,100 new coronavirus cases

Missouri reports a four-digit increase in coronavirus cases for the first time since the pandemic began.

Another 1,138 positives were confirmed Tuesday, breaking the previous record by nearly 200. Another 11 Missourians have died from COVID-19, for a total of 1,143.

Boone County confirmed 27 new cases Tuesday, which is slightly higher than the rolling average from the last week.

Cole County added three cases Tuesday. Audrain County added two positives. Moniteau and Saline counties both added one.
