Missouri Congressman Alford to host town hall meeting in Harrisburg Wednesday evening

A west-central Missouri congressman who represents Columbia, Sturgeon and Harrisburg on Capitol Hill is inviting you to Wednesday night’s town hall meeting in Harrisburg.

U.S. Rep. Mark Alford (R-Raymore) speaks this evening at 7 at the Harrisburg Lions Club on East Sexton. Congressman Alford says he made a commitment to be the most accessible member of Congress, and he’s doing 15 town halls in 15 counties this week. Congressman Alford says he can’t promise residents they’ll always agree with him but says he will always show up to listen.

Harrisburg is a town of about 300 residents. Congressional redistricting is one of numerous topics expected to come up tonight.
