Missouri gas prices lowest in the U.S.

Aren’t gas prices supposed to go up when we hit major holiday travel times?

Mike Right with AAA Missouri says, according to his organization’s research that’s not really a thing.

“We see prices going up as often as they go down. I don’t know that holiday travel, generally speaking, is a major force in terms of what you’re going to be paying for gasoline,” Right tells Missourinet.

As of Christmas Eve, Missouri had the lowest gas prices in the country at about $1.89 a gallon on average.
