Voters have spoken in 2018, approving a measure that legalizes medical marijuana in the state of Missouri.
Lobbyist Eapen Thampy says there are still some federal restrictions in place that he hopes congress will address in the near future, including one not allowing medical marijuana users to own a gun.
Thampy spoke with Wake up Columbia Tuesday to discuss the future of the drug in the Show-Me state and across the country.
