The Missouri men’s basketball team opens the 2025-2026 season Monday evening in Washington DC when they play Howard at Burr gymnasium.

Dennis Gates’ Tigers finished last year 22-12 and they earned a trip to the NCAA tournament, where they were eliminated by Drake in the first round. Mizzou is the only team in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) to return three starters: Mark Mitchell, Anthony Robinson II and Trent Pierce. Mizzou returns seven overall players.
