You can start getting Missouri driver’s licenses on Monday that are compliant with federal Real ID standards.
You’ll need one that meets those requirements by October 2020 if you want to get on an airplane or get in some government sites. You can choose not to have a license that lines up with Real ID if you want.
Missouri lawmakers resisted the standards for a while, pointing to privacy concerns.
