Missouri state troopers, Columbia Police and area first responders worked numerous snow-related crashes on Monday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to at least 76 snow-related traffic crashes in the area, along with numerous slide-offs on I-70 in Callaway County. Missouri state troopers also worked a head-on crash on Route WW near Grindstone creek east of Columbia.
Columbia Public Works had a 24-person snowplow crew on-duty Monday morning and afternoon, focusing on priority routes.
