Members of the Boone County-based emergency response team continue the recovery efforts in Florida following Hurricane Michael.
The team spent most of Sunday performing “wellness checks” on 67 residents who decided to ride out the storm in their homes.
Missouri Task Force One also check 431 structures for damage.

Monday, part of the team moved to Mexico Beach, FL, joining three canine teams that specialize in finding human remains.
The rest of the task force is helping FEMA search Tyndall Air Force Base.
