Missouri tops 1,000 new virus cases for seventh straight day, sets daily record again

Missouri breaks its record for daily coronavirus cases again.

Another 1,773 positives were confirmed Tuesday, about 100 higher than the previous record. It’s the seventh straight day the state has seen more than a thousand new cases.

Twelve more people have died from COVID-19 in the state, for a total of 1,213.

Boone County had an above-average 30 new cases Tuesday. Cole County reported seven new positives. Cooper County added three cases. Audrain County added two.
