Mizzou had a record-breaking academic year for fundraising.
The university announced on Wednesday it picked up $200 million in total gifts and pledges in 2019. That’s way past the old record of $170 million in 2016.
MU on Wednesday also announced a $4.5 million dollar gift to the law school, from alum Charles Wall’s family foundation.
The university is winding down the multi-year Mizzou: Our Time to Lead campaign that started in October 2015. The goal was to raise $1.3 billion. MU is now about $50 million away from that.
