Mizzou basketball lost both scheduled games this weekend due to COVID-19 issues.
The men’s game at home against LSU on Saturday was postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Mizzou program. The team announced on Saturday that the Vanderbilt game scheduled for Tuesday against Vanderbilt has also been postponed. Mizzou hopes to return to team activities on Wednesday, ahead of the game on Jan. 16 at Texas A&M.
The Mizzou women’s team saw its game at Auburn on Sunday afternoon postponed just hours before tipoff, because of COVID-19 issues in the Auburn program. The MU women’s team’s scheduled game against Vanderbilt last Thursday was also postponed because of COVID-19 exposure in the Commodore program.
