Tiger men’s basketball is retiring No. 3.
Derrick Chievous is Mizzou’s all-time leading scorer, at 2,580 points. He was an all-American in 1987, his senior year.
Chievous will be honored at halftime of the Kentucky game on Feb. 19.
The other men’s basketball jerseys retired belonged to Jon Sundvold (No. 20), Norm Stewart (No. 22), Willie Smith (No. 30), Doug Smith (No. 34), Steve Stipanovich (No. 40) and Bill Stauffer (No. 43).
