The UM System president will deliver his State of the University address in a few weeks on campus.
Dr. Mun Choi, who also serves as Mizzou’s chancellor, will be highlighting progress made on the Columbia campus and other plans during the address, which is scheduled for Wednesday September 25 at 10 am.
Preliminary numbers show Mizzou’s total enrollment this fall is more than 31,000. Freshmen enrollment is about 6,000, an increase of 16 percent from a year ago. President Choi also says Mizzou’s latest first-year retention rate is nearly 93 percent, which is much higher than the national average of 68 percent.
