Police investigate a reported gunshot near Mizzou and downtown Columbia.
Witnesses tell investigators they saw the shooter get out of a car and fire once at someone near Ninth and Elm at about 9:47 p.m. Thursday. No one was hurt.

Authorities arrested two people on the Mizzou campus, but quickly released them. They are still looking for the shooter.
