You’ll see custodians, union laborers and others rallying and marching to Memorial Stadium in Columbia Thursday afternoon ahead of Mizzou football’s opener.

Laborers Local 955 and their supporters will hand out flyers to the public, asking you to stand with workers in their fight for a $19 an hour minimum wage.
Mizzou custodian Allax Bullock says the University “is built on our backs” and that tonight’s football game doesn’t happen without the workers on campus. Mr. Bullock and other custodians are calling on the UM Board of Curators to take action and support paying all workers at least $19 an hour.
The rally and march begins at 4 pm at Memorial Stadium.
