Mizzou investing $22 million in parking garages in Columbia

New permit rates that took effect last fall are funding $22-million in repairs to seven Mizzou parking structures in Columbia, including the busy Turner and Tiger Avenue structures.

Mizzou spokesman Uriah Orland tells 939 the Eagle that the two structures closed Monday for repairs, and are expected to reopen in early August.

University officials say the repairs will extend the life of the garages for another 30 years or more.
