Mizzou, Kansas to renew basketball rivalry in 2020

The Border War is back.

Mizzou and Kansas announced on Monday they will renew their rivalry in men’s basketball for six seasons, starting Dec. 12, 2020 at Sprint Center in Kansas City.

The game will alternate between Lawrence and Columbia the following four seasons, then return to Sprint Center on Dec. 13, 2025.

The Tigers and Jayhawks last played a men’s basketball game that counted in February 2012, when Mizzou was still in the Big 12 Conference. The programs played an exhibition for hurricane relief at Sprint Center in 2017, raising more than $2 million.
