The #20 Tigers whipped #14 Mississippi State 88-61 Saturday in Starkville. The 27-point win is the largest road win over a ranked opponent in school history.

It’s also the 100th career win for Coach Gates, who had 50 wins at Cleveland State and now 50 with Mizzou. Mizzou’s Caleb Grill, who leads the nation in three-point shooting, led the team with 20 points. Grill was six of 11 from three-point range. Mizzou is now 17-4 on the year and 6-2 in the Southeastern conference.

The Tigers will face #8 Tennessee Wednesday evening in Knoxville.
