Traffic was jammed on and near Mizzou’s campus in Columbia for Wednesday’s move-in day.
Heavy rain and storms caused delays, and 939 the Eagle News saw Columbia Police and MUPD officers wearing yellow rain jackets as they helped to direct traffic. Our news partner KMIZ reports more than 4,600 students moved in. Move-in days are continuing this morning at Mizzou.
First roar will take place at 8 tonight at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, weather permitting. The annual Paint the M event is scheduled to take place from 3-5 pm Friday at Faurot Field.
