Mizzou: New COVID-19 rules include no gatherings of 20+ people

Mizzou students won’t be allowed to have large parties this year because of COVID-19 concerns.

The school announced new rules to limit the spread of coronavirus Monday. One of the guidelines includes prohibiting all students, faculty and staff from having gatherings of more than 20 people, whether it’s on campus or not. Those wanting to have a larger event will need to get approval from the university. Outside groups are also banned from having events on campus, with some exceptions.

Mizzou will require all students, faculty, and staff to tell the university if they have the coronavirus. The new guidelines also say they must report how they’re feeling daily on a smartphone app before they can do certain things on campus
