Mizzou offers tools for talking with kids about mass shootings

How do you talk to your kids about the mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso over the weekend?

Mizzou has a crisis center with resources that can help. Director Brian Houston says it’s ok to ask children if there’s anything in the news they want to talk about.

“We don’t want kids thinking that they’re not safe and then not wanting to go out in world, not wanting to go to school and these sorts of things. That’s not a good outcome for any of us.”
