Mizzou picks up TCU transfer quarterback Robinson

Mizzou football has added another transfer quarterback.

Shawn Robinson will probably have to sit the 2019 season, under NCAA transfer rules.

He comes from TCU, where he had nine passing touchdowns and eight interceptions, plus three rushing touchdowns, in seven games this season.

The dual threat QB was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Texas as a high school senior, and had scholarship offers from schools like Alabama, Ohio State, and Texas.

Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant has transferred to the Tigers too, but he’s a graduate student so he can play here in 2019.

Colleges can sign their football recruits to national letters of intent starting Wednesday morning. Rock Bridge High School standout defensive back Martez Manuel is among several future Tigers who committed right away.
