The UM System president says students and families continue to recognize the value of a degree from Mizzou.
Dr. Mun Choi says more than 5,000 new freshmen have joined Mizzou, an increase of 2.7 percent from last year. Dr. Choi says preliminary first-day figures show undergraduate enrollment is also up slightly, with 23,571 students.
The University of Missouri says preliminary first-day figures also show an increase in retention of last year’s freshmen, with nine in ten returning this year as sophomores. President Choi also says Mizzou has seen increases in graduation rates for all students in the last three years. He says spring 2022 saw a 75 percent graduation rate, the highest in Mizzou history.
