Mizzou police confirm death of student on campus

We have more info now about the Mizzou student pronounced dead late Wednesday afternoon.

MU police say 18-year-old Erik Severson of Aurora, Illinois was found unresponsive in his dorm room at Excellence Hall.

He was pronounced dead there, but investigators don’t suspect foul play.  The university has made grief counselors available for students in the wake of the death.
