Mizzou testing returning students when semester starts

Mizzou said on Tuesday it will require students living in dorms to take a COVID-19 test when they return for the spring semester.

The university also strongly recommends the testing for students living off-campus.

MU said students can take the test at home before returning to Columbia, or get it done at a temporary clinic that will be set up on campus.

Reported positive cases fell off a lot after Labor Day at Mizzou. It peaked at 683 active cases on Sept. 5. There are 52 active cases at last check. The school switched to all-online learning after Thanksgiving to finish the semester.
