The Missouri Tigers aim for their first SEC win of the season tomorrow night when they host the Ole Miss Rebels in Columbia.

Dennis Gates’ Tigers are 8-20 overall and 0-15 in conference, despite having four starters who average double figures. Tiger graduate guard Sean East scores 17 points a game, while Tamar Bates averages 14.

Chris Beard’s Rebels are 19-9 and 6-9 in the SEC. They’re led by senior sensation Matthew Murrell, who averages more than 17 points a game. Murrell, who played at IMG Academy, has scored more than 1,000 points at Ole Miss. He’s their 18th leading scorer in history, with 1,386 points.

Saturday night’s tipoff will be at 7:30 at Mizzou Arena. Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz and the football team will be presented with the Cotton Bowl trophy during the game, and it’s also the Rally for Rhyan game and Star Wars night. Chris Gervino will have the call tomorrow night on Central Bank Tiger Network Zimmer affiliates KCMQ (FM 96.7) and KTGR (FM 100.5).
