Mizzou to start classes in-person Aug. 24

The University of Missouri has announced a start date for in-person classes.

UM System President and Interim MU Chancellor Mun Choi announced all four UM System campuses will follow the existing schedule and start classes Aug. 24.

A plan to start the semester early on Aug. 12 in case of a second coronavirus wave in the winter was rejected last week.

Choi said students can expect new practices on campus for social distancing and health monitoring.
