Mizzou women’s basketball in SEC tournament in Greenville today

Robin Pingeton’s Missouri women’s basketball team is in Greenville South Carolina to play Mississippi State Wednesday in the opening round of the SEC tournament.

The Tigers head into the SEC tournament as a #15 seed, while the Bulldogs are a 10 seed. Mizzou is 14-17 overall and 3-13 in the conference. Mississippi State is 20-10 overall and 7-9 in conference.

Tiger star Grace Slaughter of Grain Valley has been named SEC scholar-athlete of the year.
