Mizzou’s 2026 Homecoming blood drive in Columbia sets another record

The American Red Cross says the recent University of Missouri Homecoming blood drive in Columbia has broken a record, collecting 5,150 units of blood.

That number surpasses 2025’s record number by nearly 100 units.

The Red Cross praises the commitment of Mizzou students, faculty, alums and Columbia-area residents who provided lifesaving blood for patients in need.
