Mizzou plans to close two Columbia parking garages this summer to address deferred maintenance repairs.
MU officials say the Tiger Avenue and Turner Avenue parking structures will be closed from May 16 through early August.
Mizzou says its seven parking structures require $22-million in repairs. The project is being funded by new permit rates that took effect in the fall.
Repairs at the other five garages will take place later. MU says the repairs will extend the life of the garages for another 30 years.
