Longtime catcher Yadier Molina and starting shortstop Paul DeJong are among the Cardinals who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The team confirmed six players who have COVID-19: Molina, DeJong, Junior Fernandez, Rangel Ravelo, Edmundo Sosa, and Kodi Whitley.

Molina and DeJong both said they followed team coronavirus protocols.
The Cardinals’ series in Detroit this week has been postponed. General Manager John Mozeliak says the team members in quarantine tested negative again on Tuesday, so they will get to leave quarantine at their Milwaukee hotel on Wednesday, and return to action against the Cubs on Friday in St. Louis.
Major League Baseball said Monday there were 13 members of the Cardinals travel party who tested positive for coronavirus, including staffers.
