A Moberly man remains jailed this afternoon on a $50,000 cash-only bond, after being charged with ten felonies involving alleged child sex crimes.
25-year-old Logan Johnson has been arraigned in Randolph County Circuit Court. He’s charged with three counts of statutory sodomy, four counts of child molestation, statutory rape and two other felonies. Randolph County prosecutor Stephanie Luntsford filed the graphic four-page complaint, which also alleges that Johnson tampered with the victim between September 10 and September 13, by encouraging her to lie about the alleged incidents.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) is handling the investigation of Johnson, with assistance from Randolph County Sheriff’s deputies. If convicted on the charges, Johnson would face a lengthy prison sentence and would be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
