The Missouri River is cresting Wednesday in Jefferson City a little above the minor flood stage of 23 feet.
Forecasters expect it to fall back below that flood stage on Thursday.
Cole County EMA is still hosting a disaster recovery center on Southridge Drive at the capital.
FEMA is closing the mobile disaster recovery center at the Eldon Community Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday. That will move to the St. George Parish church in Linn on Friday. It is for disaster victims who want to know what services they can get, or want to check on earlier applications.
