Are you one of those folks who has to negotiate the Route W interchange in North Jefferson City?
You can probably relate to how traffic can jam up when there’s an accident on the bridge or even a big soccer tournament at the fields nearby.
“The way the Route W interchange comes in is a pretty big deal,” MoDot’s Dave Sylvester says. “You’re coming in at a very sharp angle. We’ve had some folks say maybe we should just close off the Route W ramp.”
Sylvester says the northern approaches to the Missouri River bridge will continue to be a priority even though the gasoline tax increase failed at the polls.
