The state Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is warning that many forecast models are showing that the entire state will be impacted by varying amounts of snow accumulation today and tomorrow. Columbia and Jefferson City are covered under separate winter weather advisories.

MoDOT crews have begun around-the-clock operations, with the snow moving in. MoDOT encourages you to check road conditions on their website. You can also call and receive road conditions from a live operator 24-7: that number is 1-888-ASK-MODOT.

The department’s plow crews drove more than two-million miles statewide in February.
