MoDOT: new highway 54 interchange at Lake of the Ozarks is now completely open

State transportation officials say motorists heading to the Lake of the Ozarks today for Labor Day weekend will notice the brand-new interchange on heavily-traveled Highway 54, at Business 54.

The state Department of Transportation (MoDOT) says the new interchange, which took 18 months to finish, is completely open to traffic.

MoDOT praises the project, saying it will increase traffic safety and improve traffic flow in the Lake region.
