Moniteau deputy hit by vehicle

A Moniteau deputy is recovering this morning after being struck by a car on Thursday night.

Officer Jason Partin was conducting a traffic stop when he was hit by a passing car driven by an 85-year-old.

The Highway Patrol said Partin was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. A passenger in the passing car was also taken to the hospital with injuries.

Officials report both have been released from the hospital.
