More cases of chronic wasting disease in Missouri

Chronic wasting disease is spreading in Missouri.

The conservation department says it has found 28 cases of CWD in 11 counties. The closest counties to Columbia with CWD were Linn and Macon.

The new counties with problems were in southwest, southeast, and far north-central Missouri.

Chronic wasting disease is always fatal for deer. It does not effect humans. More info here.
