More coronavirus cases and more recoveries were reported Tuesday in Boone County.
Two more positives were confirmed, but active cases dropped to 27.
No new positives were counted in Cole, Callaway, Moniteau, or Saline counties. Callaway County remains at eight active cases. Cole County stays at two active.
Audrain County confirmed eight cases Tuesday, but active cases stayed put at 37. Audrain County health officials confirmed their first COVID-19 death on Monday.
Eight more people died from COVID-19 in the state Tuesday, making 783 total. Total positive cases rose by more than 200, to 13,575.
