Traffic will be busy Friday evening and Saturday morning for fall commencement ceremonies at historic Columbia College.
They’ll hold their fall nurses’ pinning ceremony this evening at 6:30 at Launer auditorium on-campus, where 30 nursing students receive their nurse’s pins. Saturday’s commencement ceremony begins at 10 am at the Southwell complex. Columbia College spokesman Kevin Graeler says 208 graduates will earn degrees. They represent numerous states and six nations: the United States, China, Mongolia, the United Kingdom, the Philippines and Zimbabwe.
Columbia College was established in 1851.
