Our Zimmer sister station Clear-99 is a sponsor of Saturday’s polar plunge, which takes places at Finger Lakes state park north of Columbia. Special Olympics Missouri central area development director Alex Jones tells 939 the Eagle that 238 people have already signed up to participate in Saturday’s plunge.  Registration tomorrow begins at 10, with the plunge starting at noon.

This year’s goal is $70,000.
