Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has signed an executive order, closing most state offices on Thanksgiving Friday. Exceptions are emergency services like the Missouri State Highway Patrol and prisons.

The Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City will still be open on Friday. Thanksgiving Day is one of Missouri’s 13 official state holidays, so the executive order will give most state employees a four-day weekend.
