Motorcycle crashes into police vehicle in northeast Columbia

A motorcyclist is badly hurt after crashing into a Columbia police vehicle.

CPD reports the accident happened at about 8 p.m. Tuesday on Brown Station Road near Leeway Drive in the northeast part of town.

Investigators say the motorcyclist was going the wrong way on Brown Station when the motorcycle hit the cop’s vehicle. The person on the motorcycle has serious injuries. The officer has minor injuries.
