Motorcyclist killed Tuesday in Jefferson City

Jefferson City authorities say a motorcyclist has been killed in Tuesday morning’s collision on Missouri Boulevard and Ohio Street.

Investigators say 46-year-old James W. Baysinger died, after he was ejected from his motorcycle and suffered serious head injuries.

Jefferson City Police say the crash happened just before 9, when a motorist was making a left turn onto Ohio Street. The vehicle collided with the motorcycle, and Baysinger was ejected and hit a concrete step.

The JCPD’s crash report says Mr. Baysinger was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
