MU Campus delays opening

University of Missouri officials announced on Monday that they would be delaying full operations, including classes, until noon.

“With the current weather conditions, we are concerned about the safety of our faculty, staff and students,” said Gary Ward, vice chancellor for operations.  “Delaying the start of full operations until noon will give us the extra time that our crews need to make sure campus is ready.”

Officials said only employees that are critical should report for work prior to noon.

All MU Health Care hospitals will remain open.
