MU football coach responds to sanctions

Officials from the University of Missouri continue their push back against the NCAA after sanctions were placed on the football, baseball, and softball programs.  Head football coach Barry Odom says he is in support of the athletic department’s appeal.

“I stand by the comments and statement [made by] Chancellor Cartwright along with our leader in the athletic department, Jim Sterk.”

No timetable has been given for how long the appeal process will take for MU.  The three sports face one-year bowl bans, loss of scholarships, and recruiting penalties after the NCAA found a tutor at MU committed academic violations.
