MU Health Care looks to fill open vaccine appointment slots

UPDATE: MU Health Care announced Thursday afternooon that the available vaccination slots have been filled.

MU Health Care says they have more available vaccines than people signed up to receive one this weekend.

Officials said in a release Thursday they are hoping to fill hundreds of available slots for Friday through Sunday at Faurot Field. They say this is due to the shrinking number of eligible unvaccinated people and the increase in vaccine supply.

Those who are eligible to receive the shot right now can sign up at their website.
