MU Health Care requiring staff to get COVID-19 booster

MU Health Care is requiring its staff to get a booster shot.

Officials said Thursday everyone who works at their facilities, including staffers and students, will need to get the COVID-19 booster by April 5. Several hospitals in Missouri have now started to require vaccinations for healthcare workers to follow a mandate issued by the Biden administration.

Missouri attorney General Eric Schmitt filed a lawsuit to nullify the mandate, but the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of the administration.
